Deuteronomy 19:18-20

¹⁸ The judges will thoroughly investigate, and if the witness is a false witness and has testified falsely against his brother, ¹⁹ then you must do to him as he conspired to have done to his brother. In this way you must remove the evil from among you. ²⁰ Those who remain will hear and fear, and will never again commit any such evil among you.
